Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

statute of limitations on old wills?

If a will is probated, but another more recent will is later found, is there a statute of limitations for contesting the first will, and, if so, what is it? Or would the more recent will, assuming it can be found, automatically override the older one, no matter when it's found?

Re: statute of limitations on old wills?

There is a legal process to have the earlier probate set aside, but it is too complicated to explain in this type of forum. You should consult with a local attorney.
