Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia
Stock - Transfer on Death
My son is my sole beneficiary. However, when it comes to the stock I own, I wonder if it would be simpler for him if I listed them in my name with him as ''Transfer on Death''.

You better check with the company. Many corporations have rules and forms on how the stock can be titled.

I am just guessing, but I think you probably have estate questions above and beyond your stock. I would advise you to get a consultation with a local attorney about the situation. Generally, you should get your stocks titled in the name of "(You)" and "(your son)" as "joint tenants with rights of suvivorship"
