Trust and power of attorney;s power

How long is it usally supposed to take for a trust to be received when a person has died? Also, how much power does the power of attorney actually have, and can he legally give away propety that is listed on an estate?

The will or the trust agreement will state when the trust monies are to be disbursed to the beneficiaries. If someone dies, the powers of attorney he or she executed during her lifetime are revoked and the attorney-in-fact no longer has any power at all to do anything.
