Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

I had a will composed while living in Virginia. I now reside in Georgia. I need to amend my will with regard to who gets the children until I can get the opportunity to do a new will. Do I need to do a codicil with respect to Virgina or with respect to Georgia?

No. You now need to do a new will. I would not mess around with a codicil. Codicils generally have to be executed with the same formalities as a new will anyway (properly witnessed and notarized) so why not just make a whole new will that complies with Georgia law? Wills are not all that expensive.
