Will Designation

I recently remarried to a younger person with a child. At my death of course my spouse will inherit the home along with my life insurance. I would like to stipulate that at my spouse's death, half the estate I left will go to my family. I have no children but have nieces and nephews. Can this be done and how is it done?

It may be possible to give your spouse a life estate in the will, or to do do some in-life transfers by deed. We'd need to sit down with you and get details, but what you ask is probably doable.
