Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

my father died couple years ago and had a will. I think it may have said i got a child part but I got nothing. Also my uncle lied and misled me so he could steal insurace money that was due, but I had no information other than the lies he gave me. He resolved the matter immediately. He talked to the insurance company prior and had all paperwork ready. he lied to me about the reason for his quick actions and the need for my signature.
