What will Happen to me

My ''common law husband'' died and I assumed I had rights to handle his estate. Soon after I initiated paperwork I was informed that the childern were filing against my claims. I have lost in Probate court, appealed and it was denied in superior court. My question is can the childern sue me for handling the funeral without thier permission and not listing them on documents

If you did not properly handle the administration of the estate, the other heirs can maintain legal action against you. You should consult with a local attorney to review the whole situation.
