will

i'm in someones will and he left town and moved in with a family member. if he dies and i dont know about the death what does his attorney do to reach me about my inheritance?

All heirs under a will must be notified that the will is being probated. If no one files for probate there will be no notice to anyone.

You should make sure that someone who is located in the town where he lives. Also, you might want to contact the police there to tell them your concerns.
