Approximately how long does it take to probate an uncontested estate (no will), 4 heirs in the state of Ga?

There is no way to answer your question as posted. A very simple estate with everyone cooperating may not even need a probate - in some cases you can do a no administration necessary and complete that in a couple months. Other administrations could take many months or years.

The key thing is to get a lawyer on day one. The money spent on a lawyer will likely help resolve things sooner (and properly).

First, a little terminology. If there is no will, there is nothing to probate. In this case, you "Administer" the estate. Your local Probate Court will have the forms. As to time, there are no limits. Best guess: if things go smoothly, a couple of months. If not, it could take years. Consult with a local attorney.
