Re: wills
There are many requirements as to formality and execution for a will to be valid. Additionally, the absence of many optional provisions will complicate probate. Finally, in some cases other documents besides a will should be done at the same time.
Wills are not a do-it-yourself project. They are generally very inexpensive to do right (with a lawyer). My office offers reasonable fees on wills, and provides a living will at no charge when we prepare a will.
You can find a free will preparation worksheet at www.glenashman.com . If you complete that and call me, I'd be happy to assist you.
Re: wills
Please consider hiring an attorney to assist you. There are many do's and don'ts where wills are concerned and they involve more than the mere writing itself. Moreover, in the event that you meet your ultimate destiny before you learn that your will is deficient, your loved ones will have to live with the consequences.
