Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

I was injured on my job and have filed for workers compensation and have been approved. If I quit my job now because of the pain I am in will I be able to receive unemployment or file for loss of wages through the workers compensation?

Given the information in your email, it would not be advisable to quit your job. Unemployment benefits are credited against Workers' Compensation income benefits. Please give me a call to discuss your options. I will be happy to help you in any way that I can.
