Job loss
If I lose my job and I have out standing Work Comp claims, how does it affect my possible settlement?

You can settle your case even if you have been fired. The amount of settlement depends on a number of factors, including why you were fired, whether you had restrictions when you were fired and whether you are able to find re-employment. Don't let the insurance company tell you that you are not entitled to workers' compenation or a settlement just because you are no longer employed with the employer of injury.
