Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

shoulder injuries at work.

Lift heavy boxes-injured shoulder-put on light duty by doctor. Employer ignored and worked me 10 more wks until my day of surgery. Freezer was iced up, would not fix it, I fell on shoulder in freezer. Doctor states shoulder was much worse than MRI showed as only breaking shoulder would have been more severe. Arm just hung. Used other arm and Doctor says surgery but now 2 1/2 yrs. afterwards employer has approved surgery. Mean while 2 more employees have fallen in same freezer (again frozen with ice) and have arm injuries with nerve damage and crushed bones. Can I receive a settlement or sue for negligence because of the freezer, forcing me to work for 10 more wks and delaying the other surgery for 2 1/2 yrs.?
