workers comp injury

I was fired the day after my injury but it was not related to my injury. I want to know am I still entiltled to compensation because I am not able to work due to my injuries.

If you are not able to work because of your injury, you are entitled to compensation. But if the reason you are not able to work is because you were fired for a reason unrelated to your injury (which seems suspicious if you were fired the day after the injury), you will need to show proof of a diligent job search to receive income benefits. Regardless, you are entitled to medical benefits.
