Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Germany
Debt Collection from Germany
We have been battleing in a German Court over a bait and switch tactic used by a builder on a new house. Now we are being sued for 85.000 Euros by the bank and 70.000 Euros by the builder. If we declare bankruptcy can they take our mutual funds and IRA's. Thank You.

You cannot - be very carfefull German Judgments last for 30 years and under German Law are diferent restrcitions what is excempt. I do not understand what the reason for all these lawsuit are. Are there already valid judgments?
