Ilegitimate child legal rights

I have recently found my father after losing contact for 37years.

I am an illegitimate offspring. My mother is deceased but my father accepts me and I have visited him several times these past few years. Our relationship is congenial.

What are my legal rights regarding rights to German citizenship or residency and inheritance issues in the eyes of German law?
