Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Germany
My father died recently in Germany. How can I find out about his will? In Germany, does an executor handle the will, as here in Australia?

The local court (Amtsgericht) competent for your father's last residence handles wills etc. Besides that, there is usually no executor, unless an executor has been appointed in the will. It is the heirs who have to take care of the deceased's remainings.
