As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. Employers are responsible for "mistakes" etc., made by their employees as well as any transactional disputes that arise in the normal course of business. If the employee is a knowing party to a credit card scheme, that's different. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
