guam non residency divorce

hello. i have a quick question. my husband and i got married in santa barbara, ca and moved to the philippines. if we got a guam divorce, would a guam non-residency divorce be valid in the U.S? meaning, when i got back to the U.S., can i re-marry there? there are websites that say it is recognized in the U.S. such as this website http://www.guamdivorces.com/non_residents.htm. thank you.

Guam divorces are recognized in the US. However, the Guam legislature is loooking at making a short visit to Guam a requirement for obtaining a divorce. It has not done so yet so at this time, the existing law is still in effect.

Yes, Guam non-residency divorce will be reconized in the US. There had been decisions of the US courts saying that judicial proceedings of US territories and possessions shall have the same full faith and credit in every court within the United States as when enforced/executed in said US territories or possessions.
