Legal Question in Family Law in Guyana

i was with this man when i was 18 and he was 36. my parents had refused his request for us to get married so i moved out to live with him. shortly, during our co-habitation i became pregnant and soon after I've learnt that the man i have been living with is married with children. i moved back with my parents
when my daughter was born he came to the hospital and promised to leave his wife and marry me. i never saw him again.
i met someone the following year and married him. my daughter calls him "dad" cause he is only male figure in her life. She has never met her real dad but i try to contact him for my daughter's sake of having a relationship with her dad. but i dont want to lose custody of my child to him nor do i want to share custody with him which he is all of a sudden now fighting for.
my daughter leaves a comfortable life. she goes to private school and we take vacations annually. i would just like her to have a relationship with her dad i don't want to share custody. What do i do?

you could have thought of this before contacting your daughter's real dad. Now nothing left rather to fight for custody
