Legal Question in Administrative Law in Hawaii

parole transfer

our son is up for his parole hearing on june 20th 2008. He has requested as have we, that he be transferred from Hawaii to California, so he can live with his parents, us, to help him get his feet back on the ground. Hawaii tells us they are doing everything but we find they are not, such as transferring his papers to Sacramento, what can we do so he does not have to sit in jail for 2 or more months.

Have you been in contact with his attorney or public defender in Hawaii? That would be your best source of advice. The only other thing I can suggest is to re-ask your question on LawGuru but under a criminal law heading.
