Legal Question in Business Law in Hawaii
default on a promissary note
I sold a busines to a person in Maui, HI. Now this person is going to default on a promissary note. He said he has his condo up for sale and he is moving back to Australia.
I would like some advise on what I can do?

If you don't have a mortgage to go along with the note you need to sue the person for the amt. on note immediately and file lis pendens on the property before he sells.
