I am not licensed in Hawaii so I make no comment about Hawaii's LLC law, which is state specific like all such statutues, but you may be talking about the IRS election by an LLC to be taxed as a corporation instead of as an LLC (disregarded entity or partnership taxation). If this question has practical application, rather than just being theoretical, you should seek local legal and tax counsel.

You can elect to form your company as an LLC by filing articles of organization, or articles of conversion if you are converting from a C or S corp. However, there is no form called "LLC election form" Aloha, Jon A. Zahaby
