Can a store require a search for you to enter?

Can a store, such as Wal-mart, require a search of your person, for things such as weapons or drugs, before entering their store?

Yes. If you don't like the conditions they set, you can refuse to be searched, turn around and leave.

The only exception I can think of to this rule would be if the store decides whom to search based upon race or other improper criteria.
