Property Taken away

My husband is part owner of my in-laws house and I would like to know if the property could be taken away because of our law suit?

As a co-owner your husband has a right to the pro indiviso part of the property. Thus, your lawsuit will not affect the right of your husband to his share unless ofcourse it has been proven that he is not entitled thereto. This is just a practical opinion.
