Legal Question in DUI Law in Hawaii

DUI dropped, now how do I get my license back?

Ok, back in 1997 I got a DUI on Fort Shafter Army Base, and the state of Hawaii dropped the charges and left it up to the federal government to take control. Which they did. Well back in 2002 I went to get my Texas drivers license renewed because it was gonna expire and I was told, '' your licenes has been canceled in the state of Hawaii.'' So my question is how can I get that lifted to get my license back?

2nd question is, I sold a car while I was down there and the guy I sold it to never changed the name over, and he got a lot of parking tickets, how long do those stay on your record? Or am I stuck having to pay them? And how do get a total amount due?

3rd question I also got a few driving tickets while I was there, do they ever just come off your record, or do they stay for ever. I live in Texas now and just trying to get my license back. Please help with any info you might have. Phone numbers and point of contacts would be great. It seems no one here in Texas can help me, such as lawyers because its a Hawaii matter. Once again sorry for the length of this but I really need help. thanks.

Did you appear at Federal Magistrate's court on the DUI? You probably need to get a license clearance from Hawaii. Need to prove compliance with the terms of your sentence having to do with driver's ed, substance abuse assessment etc. The other traffic violation may be dismissed if they are old and you post bail on any bench warrants to get them back into court.
