What is the minimum and maximum penalty for a dui/negligent injury charge?

Depends on the degree of injury. Negligent injury-first degree is a class "C" felony, maximum 5 years prison. Negligent injury-second degree is a misdemenor, maximum 1 year jail.

I do not know enough information to answer your question completely. However, if you caused an injury and were DUI it can be charged as a Class A misdemeanor. A Class A misdemeanor can carry a substantial fine and up to 1 year in jail.
