Legal Question in DUI Law in Hawaii

Traffic violation

i was forced into a guardrail by an oncoming car.......my tire blew and my truck came to an abrupt stop ....knocking me unconscious...when I came to there was a police officer standing there who said ''would you be willing to submit to a field sobriety test'' to which I replied '' hell no...I was just run off the road and knocked out'''' to which he rsponded by handcuffing me and putting me in his patrol car. NO OTHER WORDS WERE EXCHANGED........On several levels this bothers me, !. aren't they suppossed to read me rights before they handcuff me? 2. Why was I never asked about why I ran into a guardrail 3. Why is no one interested in the guy that crossed the double yellow line and caused the accident and why is the focus on me? Here's the shady side of the story.....45 minutes prior to this incident I had dropped a friend off from work and did have 2 beers...I know it sounds like a line but it it true. The fact is I would not have had any choice if I had a beer or not....it was either a head on collision or make every effort to avoid that,..........which is what I did.....and believe me I have played this over a thousand times in my mind and I know I made the right decision and I would make the same decision again
