Legal Question in Family Law in Hawaii

Annuling divorce

My ex-husband and I just recently got divorced in Nov '97. The divorce was a spur of the moment, last resort kind of thing to get my point across. We still live together and act like we never got a divorce. My question is, is there any way that we could void our divorce and still be married without having to get remarried?

More romantic to re-ctement your vows than to annul divorce

If your divorce has not become final, maybe you can annul it.You must consult a local atty wo knows your state's laws. However, if your love is that strong, why not remarry. It wouldshow just how willing -- no, how brave -- you both are to try it again.A wonderful story. Good luck. You're in a win/win situation.Either way, you'll end up happy!

regrets divorce

I have to agree with the attorney from Massachusetts. It's not so difficult. I once represented a husband who got divorced twice from the same woman and and remarried her twice. I don't know whether or not he is still married to her (He could have hired another attorney for the third divorce). Good luck

Undoing a divorce

Once the divorce is final or absolute, you have to go through a wedding ceremonyagain. If the divorce is not final you may be able to go to court and stop the divorce.
