what are the laws regarding marital abandonment?

Abandonment is a grounds for divorce in so far as it certainly would show "irrecioncible differences" if you can't even live togther!
I assume you want to file to dissolve the marriage, especially if has been consumated.

Before Florida became a no-fault state, abandonment was a ground that you could claim divorce under. Now that you don't need grounds for divorce (you just claim the marriage is "irretrievably broken"), there are no more laws regarding marital abandonment.
