I lost full custody to my children a year ago. My ex wants me to adopt the children back. How do I go about doing this?

It depends on the circumstances of your losing custody. You can make a petition for a modified custody order, however, the judge will decide custody based on the best interest of the children and not on either you or your ex-husbands wishes. You should hire a family law attorney and file for modified custody with a mutual consent and stipulation from you and your ex-husband. Aloha, Jon A. Zahaby, Esq.
