Legal Question in Family Law in Hawaii
signed wrong spelled name on marriage license
My wife spelled her name wrong on the marriage license in Hawaii, now she claims our marriage is not legal. Is this true? We only married in Hawaii, but we live in the main land.

Re: signed wrong spelled name on marriage license
I don't think that the Family Court in South Carolina would be too terribly concerned because of the mis-spelling, but your question might better be answered by someone in Hawaii, since that is where it occurred.
If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
