Canadian owning a franchise in Hawaii
I am a canadian and looking to purchase a franchise to open my business in Hawaii. What do I need to do to fully protect my interest and follow the law?

From an immigration perspective, you'll want to apply and be approved for the E-2 Treaty Investor visa:

If you wish to acquire immigration status through your ownership, then you need an Investor status, E-2. I have helped others with E-2 status out of Canada and if you would like my assistance, please contact me further.
