Hi i just want to ask if my son in law could have an automatic US citizenship, he is now turning 18 on April 3 2009. I petitioned him. He is now residing with me at Hawaii. I need your answer urgently. Advice me what to do.

I will need more information on your situation, but it does not sound as though he will be able to obtain automatic citizenship. Have you filed an I-130 for him and your daughter?
