If you are in removal proceedings, and you meet the qualifications for cancellation of removal under Section 240A(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, you may be eligible to get your green card. So read the law. If you have any criminal convictions, then all will depend on what you have done and when. Next, retain a good lawyer. My office handles cases all over the country and I suggest that you at least try a consultation to see if you would qualify for cancellation. You also may have other relief, but we won't know until we get all the facts. Good luck to you!
