Legal Question in Insurance Law in Hawaii
home insurance coverage
ur house was burned down last July,2006. The insurance adjuster said we're only covered up to 180,000 max. limit to rebuild the whole house, but construction cost averages 270,000-300,000. We have replacement cost coverage under our policy, isn't this supposed to cover all the expenses to rebuild the house?

Re: home insurance coverage
Those computations can be very tricky, as well as reading the policy terms; e.g. actual cash value versus replacement cost, and policy limits. You probably need to take the policy to an attorney to review it with more information and details.
