why is there not one lawyer calling me back? hum

to whom it may concern, I had a serious slip and fall, hurting myself in sept 02. I was given a claim with a third party no fault, all bills were being paid for me. I asked for mileage compensation, and the insurer sent an investigator to take a 'statement from me. It was the adjuster/investigator's call as to 'where he wanted me to make the statement. It was in his rented van. The van was hit by another vechicle at the time of my statement, and I have it on my tape recorder. ANother claim was made, who is liable? I was re injured in the van, and need help with pain and suffering, and or mileage? Do I need a lawyer? I have called every lawyer on Maui, and I had only one call back out of approx 40 calls. She laughed and said 'good luck. Is there something wrong with this system? In washington where I am originally licensed as a lmt massage therapist, they take these types of injuries ...seriously, and I would be able to get help? from slip and fall to mva, how do I get help? Injured , emotionally distraught, and out of work , please help --name removed--

One reason why no lawyer called you back is most lawyers will not take a slip and fall case because liability is usually difficult to prove and often the injuries involved are quite minor.
