Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Hawaii
pliz sum1 clarify questions of law and question of facts to this problem
Jumping Jack Flash runs a Brahman cattle stud farm on the north coast of Fantasy Island about 50 kms out of the main township. About a month ago he bought a second hand red truck from Shifty Steve’s Saleyard in Downtown and paid Steve 200,000 vatu in cash. Jumping Jack drove the truck home the same day and planned to register it with the Fantasy Island Transport Office the following week. Before he did that, the police came to Jack’s house and told him that the truck actually belonged to Pastor Paul and had been stolen from his Pentecostal Church two weeks ago while Pastor Paul was giving a service. The police then took the truck away to the local police station. Jumping Jack was furious and went to Shifty Steve’s Saleyard but Steve had ‘gone bush’. Jack now has no transport and is unable to bring his cattle into Downtown to the abattoir for sale. He wants to sue Shifty Steve for breach of contract to recover his 200,000 vatu.

Although you should do your own law school work, in real world litigation there are no questions of fact or law. Jumping Jack is S*** out of luck. Aloha, Jon A. Zahaby
