Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Hawaii
Question on Real Estate
On our Quit Claim Deed, it states that my husbands mother has life estate to the property while one son owns 50% and the other 50% is divided with the other three sons. Is any one party able to sell the property? Can the son that owns 50% + 1 son that owns a share of the other 50% force a sale of the property?

Re: Question on Real Estate
Nobody can sell the property while your husband's mother (the Life Tenant) is still alive unless she signs off.
