Legal Question in Traffic Law in Hawaii
i need help on getting an answer
i have been to court 4 or 5 times because case has been continued because cop didnt show up so i was wondering if the court had a certin amount of days to end a case? or how many days/continues do the court have to end the case or to get it thrown out? this is in hawaii

The state has 180 days from arrest/first appearance to prosecute. Ask the Judge to dismiss your case with prejudice for failure to prosecute within time limits for speedy trial.
