Legal Question in Workers Comp in Hawaii

Accepting WC settlement

I have received an offer of settlement from my WC insurance co. after surgery and have not accepted it or declined it yet because I've been told its low. How long do I have to decide, and can they retract their offer and totally write me off?

Normally an offer made by Employer/Insurance Carrier contains a deadline to respond. If the offer made to you does not, then the offer can be revoked at any time before acceptance by you.
