Legal Question in International Law in Hong Kong
International Law
I am trying to find information about a court case in Hong Kong regarding the selling of 40 airplanes by the KMT in October 1949, two months after after it was overthrown by the Communist Party in China. The planes were flown to Hong Kong and sold to a private buyer from the US. The Hong Kong authorities refused to hand over the planes and an initial ruling found in favor of the PRC, but the British authority in Hong Kong overturned the ruling and ruled that the planes belonged to the private buyer.

Re: International Law
Out of experience there should be records about the case. Someone has to go to Hongkong and search the court records. From here in the US I do not expect to be succesful.
