What is bank policy on cashing out of state cashiers checks
I have been a victim of fraud. My question is why would a bank not verify an out of state cashiers check in the amount of $5000.00 to make sure it was valid. Only $450 was deposited and the rest was given to me in cash. The bank I am trying to deal with will not work anything out with me. I do not qualify for a loan because lack of credit,and I can't find someone that will cosign. If they did not follow procedure is there anyway this can be dropped?
