Re: What kind of Bankruptcy?
Your friend wants to not pay his debts and keep a good credit rating?
I suggest he speak to a lawyer who specializes in debtor protection. Only in a personal interview can a lawyer review your friend's entire situation and arrive at a recommndation of what is best in his particular situation.
If he can't afford a lawyer, he should try Legal Aid. Most bar associations also have panels of lawyers willing to work for reduced fees.
Good luck to him!
