Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Idaho
What if I marry someone that filed bankruptcy at one time.
Hi,
If I myself have perfect credit and own my home. What would happen if I married someone that has filed bankruptcy in the past 3 years during a previous marriage?
Would this hurt me in anyway? Would my future spouse ever recover? Would his credit ever be okay again?
Thanks,
Michelle

Your future, should contact the credit reporting agencies and have inserted in each report, a statement, explaining why the BK. This the agencies are required to insert. If your future has had decent credit since the BK, then there is very little harm to come to you.
