Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Idaho
college records
recently the college registars office called someone other than me , and released private college information on my graduating status. I have never signed any written consent of of release of this vital info and feel my privacy has been intruded on, do I have grounds for breech of contract, invasion of privacy or anything to teach this college that what they did is wrong?

Re: college records
You may have some rights as to privacy. It depends on a number of factors including whether you agreed to these kind of releases when you went to school there and whether your state has any rules on the issue as well. Finally damages will be an issue too.
As you may have some rights to recover for your trouble in this matter, I would see a civil rights attorney in your state as soon as possible.
Good luck
