Legal Question in Consumer Law in Idaho
breech of contract?
I recently purchased a gift card worth $500 in value from a well known online auction. I received it very late, and when I received it it had a value of 1 cent. I contacted the seller, and she said she would check and see what was going on. She stated she would replace the card or refund the money, then ceased all communication. Since she is in a different state than mine, what are my options? Can I sue for court cost and travel if I have to travel to Idaho from Texas? Please help.

Re: breech of contract?
In answer to your second question, you can recover court costs but not the costs of travel.
I can't answer your first question since I have absolutely no knowledge of what the total agreement was in the purchase of the gift card, or what conditions were attached to the card itself.
