Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Idaho
auto reposession
I was buying a auto from a private owner a friend I gave him $500.00 and the rest was to be worked out in trade which was me working for him I fullfilled my end of the deal but he never kept track he would never give me any bill of sale or contract so I couldnt register it in my name. Then one day we got in a arguement not related to this and in the middle of the night he came and took the auto not realizing it was actually paid for but I had no proof any way. What can I do about collecting the money I have invested in it.

Re: auto reposession
Make demand by certified letter, then take him to small claims court if he doesn't ante up.
