I was charged with 2nd degree burglary and forgery. I am wondering what kind of sentance I am facing

A second degree burglary is a felony and punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years or to payment of a fine of not more than $20,000, or both.

THere are many defenses to criminal charges. those defenses are determined by reviewing the aprticular facts of the case and all evidence associated with it. With an aggressive defense, a felony offense can often be avoided. That is particularly true if you have no rpior record.

In Minnesota, a person convicted of a serious felony can be sentenced to a lengthy prison sentence.
