Your 1st sentence doesn't make sense.
Foreclosure takes months before the property was sold.
Why did you wait so long to seek legal advice?
He may have been able to get a loan based upon his
1/2 interest in your real property. You don't say whether
you live in a community property state. Also, I'd need
to review the loan documents to determine how he got the
loan.
You don't say how he is leading you on.
Why don't you file for divorce. This should stop
him from further disposing of assets. In Idaho, filing for
divorce requires the entering of a restraining order stopping
the parties from disposing of the assets. You can get an
additional order requiring him to list all assets. This is usually
automatic in Idaho.
I don't have enough information to give further advice.
I hope this helps you.
